Gini Holmes is a
traditionally trained print maker (lithography) who has turned to more
experimental Born in Long Beach, CA, she received her BFA from Stanford University in lithography and painting. She received her Masters of Science in Visual Studies from Mass. Institute of Technology in experimental graphics. As an artist in residence at MIT, she began working with colleague/artist Tom Norton, doing an extensive amount of research in Electrographic Printing using a variety of copiers.
Her Mixed Media Electrographic Transfer Monoprints are created using three types of copiers, including a XEROX Standard Haloid camera. These large format prints often incorporate handmade papers and 3 dimensional surfaces.
In 1995, Ms. Holmes began manipulating her images in her computer, producing giclee prints on handmade paper. She also began creating drawings on floorboards and large sheets of paper, bringing her computer explorations back to realization through a very basic medium - crayon. These drawings are often used as "beginnings" for further explorations using the computer to print on varied substrates such as fabrics, metals, gels and tiles.
Gini has completed public
art pieces for the city of Redding's Aquatic Center,
Turtle Bay Boat Launch, Redding
Civic Center
and the Redding YMCA

Sandy Scott creates fused glass jewelry and accessories influenced by
Asian architecture and textiles from the 30's and 40's. She is
constantly absorbing influences and ideas from the world around her.
Once she gets an idea, she sketches a loose design and creates patterns.
Using these patterns, she cuts and layers the glass to create
individual components which are fused in a high temperature kiln before
being assembled with silver or gold findings. She often embellishes
these pieces with vintage beading.
Sandy is for the most part a self taught artist, with a definite love of
diverse methods and materials. Her creative strength is innovation, to
see fabric as glass, vegetation as metal sculpture, life as art. I am for the most part a self taught artist, with a definite love of
diverse methods and materials. My creative strength I believe is
innovation, to see fabric as glass, vegetation as metal sculpture, life
as art. I enjoy expressing a single idea in a myriad of ways, just to make
certain I have explored my options. Creativity is a gift we all
possess and the more we use it, the more complete our experience of the
world is. I hope you are all creating something today. Metal
sculpture is next on my list. What's on yours?

Kathy Weaver is a Watercolorist, a Potter, a Sculptor, a Kite maker (and flyer), a
Fabric Designer, a Glassblower, a Photographer and most recently a
Mosaic Mural Artist. All of the different mediums offer her a constant flow of inspired ideas.
Her pottery takes four forms: Pit Fire Sculptures, Nature and Quote Tiles, Handmade Tile Mirrors and Production Bisque Ware.
Her fabric designs are produced on clothing, curtains, shower curtains,
pillows and bags.
Her photography came about because she used it in conjunction with her still life paintings to preserve light. It evolved naturally -
driven by light, color and composition. She captures the natural at
some very special and unusual moments, using a panoramic format. Each
matted and framed piece is presented in three sizes: 12X24, 11X20, and
8X16.
Kathy also produces Mosiac Murals with a partner, Sandy Scott, using rocks,
tiles, marble and stone slabs, fused glass, handmade tiles, and copper
wire. They work on large walls and small areas, gardens and
floors, transforming environments.
